We’re taking a short summer break for a week ☀️

The studio will be closed from Saturday 6th August and reopens on Tuesday 16th August.

All your passes/memberships will be extended to make up for the time we’ll be closed 💪🏻

Are you feeling the heat? 🥵 Yep, summer is making your workouts tougher, but we encourage you to keep persevering 💪🏻 Try not to fall out of routine because getting started again will be so much harder.

When training we recommend:
🟢 Hydrating well every day
🟡 Using electrolytes to help replace salts and minerals lost through sweating 
⚪️ Accept that workouts can feel tougher than usual and allow yourself to go slower if needed.

Even though we are fully equipped with A/C and fans, summer training WILL make you fitter and stronger and your winter ones will feel like a breeze 😉 #ActiveSpirit

What do you know about your core? Is it just your abdominal wall, or is there more to it? 🤔

Head to our story for a little quiz where you can learn something new! 

As women, there is nothing more valuable to us than understanding how our core works! It is the foundation for keeping our core strong and safe during pregnancy and subsequently, having a thorough postnatal recovery.

How I wish every pregnant woman could learn all there is to know about her core. It will help her SO much after baby comes. Pregnancy is the right time to do it… but that said, it’s never too late either.

If you’re pregnant or postnatal, you can do a one time core education session with me in which we’ll cover everything there is to know about your core, how it works, and lifestyle strategies to care for it and protect it during pregnancy and postnatal period. 

We cover this in classes too but the one-to-one session gives the opportunity to go deeper and take as much time as is needed to explain, practice and learn!

How I’m spending my days recently 💭… 2 weeks to go until classes with you ladies begin and there’s a lot of prep work to be done 👩🏼‍💻

You see, these classes, especially Baby On Board and Early Days Mum, are so much more than just exercise sessions. In these classes I want to use my knowledge to help serve you so much more than that ✨ I want to teach you things no one else has, I want to give you tools to help yourself, which no one else has and I want to be there to support you every step of the way! I want these sessions to be even better than they were before I paused them 🌟

I’m refreshing my memory, going through my notes for the third time over to make sure I’ve nailed down every detail, and I’m compiling resources to share with you along the way + class plans that cover everything that’s important and not just then exercise ☺️💕

… and that’s without all the stuff I want to share here on Insta! But one.step.at.a.time!!

Can you tell I’m excited!? It can get tiring, but I truly love every second of it! Can’t wait to share it all with you! 💋 #ActiveSpirit
